Kayakers at Quisset

  Not sure if this is worthy:

The kayakers are in the background disappearing to the right (and too big).

Tired of dull colors. Have to rely on what I see when dozing

Epigansett - before and after

I call doggy beach on Gardiner Rd "Epigansett", as it is at the edge of places called "gansett". I could not decide if there was a picture here but finally was convinced by the shear emptiness of the scene and the beauty of the clouds. I got very lucky while photo'ing for reference, as a tern flew into the frame at just the right moment. Here is the scene, before I tried to paint it:

A couple of Birds and Waves that didn't make the cut

 

I clipped the top part of the picture and saved that in "Birds and Waves". The two terns flying by are an abstraction that I am proud of and intend to use again.

Foxgloves

 Colors on the painting are richer. On the flower even more so.
