Fool enough to think I can spot a woodcock

Planning

Since describing an action gives a narrative for it - a plan - I want to examine the idea that a plan is a narrative with narrative structure similar to the action itself. Since the actions precede language, must not language evolve along lines that already exist in the mind or "motor-sensory" system?

In other words the underlying system of narrative structure would predate language.
